About the Event

Heading 1

The 6th annual Monrovia Music Fest is back on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Library Park Memorial Fountain on Myrtle Avenue in Old Town Monrovia. The event features a vast array of regional and national music acts throughout the day.

The Fest also offers a craft beer garden, food trucks, an artisan market, free kid's activities and the Bark Park where friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.

The first Monrovia Music Fest (formerly the Monrovia Days Music Festival) was created in 2014 by Monrovian and local business owner, Carole Anne Kaufman, a two-time world champion musical whistler known as The Whistling Diva. In working to reignite the community’s birthday celebration tradition, the Fest was born.

In 2015 Clara Mayer, a local strategic marketing executive, joined the team and the event continued to grow. In 2017, we rebranded to become the Monrovia Music Fest and expanded the festivities. The Monrovia Music Fest has become the biggest music festival in the San Gabriel Valley east of Pasadena.

"We are passionate about bringing communities together through music," said Kaufman.
